Bookkeeper

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 16, 2026

These terms describe the intended use of Bookkeeper, a private expense-tracking tool maintained for its owner’s personal use.

Personal-use tool

Bookkeeper is not a public consumer service. It is intended only to help its owner collect, review, categorize, and report personal transaction records. Access to connected Gmail, WhatsApp, database, and Google Sheets resources must remain authorized by their owner.

No professional advice

Bookkeeper provides record-keeping assistance only. It does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Its records and reports should not be treated as a substitute for professional advice or official statements from a bank, card issuer, tax authority, or other institution.

Review and accuracy

Email formats and automated parsing can be incomplete or ambiguous. Transactions, merchants, amounts, dates, payment methods, exclusions, transfers, and categories may be missing or inaccurate. The user is responsible for reviewing Bookkeeper’s results against source messages and official account records before relying on them.

Availability and changes

Bookkeeper depends on third-party services, credentials, network access, and scheduled infrastructure. Processing or reporting may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable. The tool and these terms may change as the personal workflow and its integrations evolve.

Responsible use

The user is responsible for securing connected accounts and credentials, maintaining appropriate backups, and using Bookkeeper in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of AWS, Supabase, Google, and Meta.
